1. Can you pinpoint when your sport became more than just a hobby but a way of life?
Ever since I started actually, I really took it serious from the beginning! I Really haven.t even been to an .après-ski. bar until last December!

2. How did you first get hooked up with TSG?
I know the company owner since a very long time. He hooked me up with my first board sponsor.

3. What does riding for TSG mean to you?
It.s cool to be part of this program, I enjoy telling the kids that its ok and even a .must. sometimes to wear protection!

4. What is the idea behind your pro model graphic/ how did you come up with the design?
My winter 08/09 Evolution Pro model helmet was inspired by a manga cartoon. Everybody knows the dragonballs right? The design imitates the blond reddish hair of the Sayajin character. Now I ride a TSG helmet with RedBull graphics.

5. Your sport has given you the chance to travel the world. Of all places you have explored, which has been most memorable?
Most memorable for sure was Aspen, Colorado.. I will never forget X-Games and everything around it! That event is just how I imagined it always when I was a kid.

6. Who do you respect in your sport?
Everybody who pushes it and lives it the way I do.

7. How do you cope with a tough slam?
Just stand up and do it again as long as you can.

8. What has been your scariest experience on a snowboard?
Scariest. hmm when I smashed my head into the icy pipe wall without wearing goggles, beanie or helmet. that was awful!

And here Iouri talks about the benefits of our BigBear Kneepad.
